That's not an LCI, that's a modded headlight. The LCI only updated the tail lights for the M3. The regular 3 series got upgraded headlights as well, but the M3 did not. The stock M3 headlights are the same from '08 to '12. Cool. I've not seen anyone retrofit a LCI headlight into an M3. I was looking at a used M3 at a dealer here in CA a few years ago.. the car was initially on hold for another customer in Las Vegas, NV.. that customer wanted to come to CA to pick up the car, but wanted the dealership to exclude the CA sales tax because he was going to take it back to NV where it would be registered. If you want it to pull you from low, I am sure 335, which has higher torque from lower RPM to redline, would do better. Just it doesn't have M3's screaming and power at high-rev. On the other hand, if you don't high-rev it, you are missing the point of M3 over 335. The E90 was the sedan, the E92 was the coupe, and the E93 was the convertible. The new 4.0-litre V8 S65 made a massive 309 kW and 400 Nm and was mated to either a 6-speed manual or another M3 first, the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
